For some individuals, their pain surfaces with an incredible need to talk about their feelings. It is at this time that many women realize that they need help and look for someone to confide to. Others suffer silently, afraid to confess and tell others about their abortion decision, afraid that they will be judged. Many women who have walked in a path of grief and hopelessness after abortion, eventually begin to understand that they have a deep spiritual wound.
But There Is Help:
To help the post-abortion woman, Hands of Hope offers free abortion recovery. It is open to anyone who is suffering from an abortion decision. A Bible-based workbook called Forgiven and Set Free is used. Although it is a Christian program, women of all faiths are welcomed to participate and have been helped.
